Who is this suitable for: Any over 16- This course is perfect if you have sewn before or if you have attended the some beginners workshops & would like to extend your sewing skills further.

What you'll Learn & Make: Learn how to handle a new but practical water resistant fabric, change your machines presser foot to insert a zip, create volume with 'box corners' to make a set of wash bags.

Great Workshop

I really enjoyed this workshop I’ve only recently completed the full day “ introduction to sewing course “ and I’ve never put in a zip before. I had a few issues with my machine but Katie was really helpful and set me up on their own machine. Katie showed us step by step of what to do as and when we were to move on and I managed to complete my very first zipper bag.

Brilliant teaching

I really enjoyed the lessons at the sewing institute met new people and felt very comfortable looking forward to the next set of lessons.

Really useful zipper workshop

I always thought zips would be difficult but with Lucy's friendly and detailed tuition she makes it easily achievable. I would definitely recommend!
